I'm with you, Ray. The regular baseball season has gone on too long. Your/my emotions re: your/my team are never safe whether they lead their division by a gazillion games or whether they look like they have the game in hand. The Brewers may be even now for the Wild Card, but I can't let the dreams of the playoffs creep into my mind because I am sure to be disappointed as I have been, oh so many times before.

I'm hoping they make it...1) because my other ny team came up way too short this year. and 2) because we'd love to see a dodgers-mets matchup and possibly go to a game out here!

aunt judy...it would be cool for the brewers to make it though...that's ethan's team and he's basically one of the 20 or so brewer fans that'd be happy to see that.
