A Late Thought

For a person who works the midnight shift (12 to 8), when we turn the clocks ahead, do they get paid for seven  hours or eight?

depends on the employer. At the hospital where I worked as an RN, 11 pm to 7 am, we got paid for the actual 7 hours worked when the clock moved ahead an hour in spring, but only got paid 8 hours in autumn, when we actually worked 9 hours, when the clocks were moved back, and all you day people were sleeping an extra hour. Can you believe that? Talk about unfair!!!!!
