Being in the sixth day of the common cold I felt compelled to make an observation. I find it astounding how much mucus the human body can produce while a cold runs it course.
Not only is there a lot of mucus produced, but after the normal part of the cold runs its course, the mucus stays on for quite a while. The amount every day decreasing by a small part. Until finally, you're feeling quite good but you're still coughing up a lung and what comes out? A miniscule blob of mucus. Damn, you mucus. Is this all TMI ???

You should see what it's like on day 14.
